Connectivity is really important when it comes to hooking up gear, consoles, instruments, etc. There are hundreds of differnet cables that all have an important purpose in the studio. Renegade showed me many examples of the different cables that I should become familiar with and made a point to show me each of their function. Working with the patch bays was also a great learning experience to route your signal to a specific location.
