Major: Audio Engineering

Hello, my name is Jamaal Milton and I have started the Audio Engineering program.  I had started this down path approximately eight years ago, however my circumstances had prevented from making the jump and finishing this course. Now with the urging of friends and family who are tired of hearing me talk about it, I am finally taking the leap and gettiing out this dream.

I love the idea of being to cobine two my passions in engineering and music and the process to brng those two together.  It has always struck me as an intriguing mission and one that I can do endlessly. Eventually I would like to foucs on learning how to properly master audio and post-production in general. 

  • Graduated from ITT Technical Institute with my A.A.S in Electronincs Engineering Technology - 2000
  • I have achieved my Cisco Certified Network Associate certification (CCNA) - 2012
  • I started in the corporate world at age 21 doing R&D research with gas and solid state laser systems.
  • For the last seven and a half years I have be working as a satellite telecommunications support engineer. Our gear is tatical satellite antennas, used by the military and other government agencies to communicate to strategic sites.
  •  I have worked primarily with the military and I have advanced my careerupward from a Field Support Engineer to the CONUS/OCONUS Operations Manager. Most recently spending two years in Afghanistan managing 180 company contractor personnel in an active combat warzone supporting the United States Marine Corps. and U.S. Army.
  •  Due to my positions I have had the oppurtunity to travel across the globe racking up Platinum status on Delta Airlines and Marriott Hotels.
  • HAVE PASSPORT/WILL TRAVEL
  • A firm understanding of how to behave in a professional setting and knowledge in a service orientated field.
