Today is Monday, January 26, 2015 which is the beginning of my experience at the Recording Connection. I went out to the studio at 8 PM. When I first arrived to the studio I was identified by a tall mysterious man whom I found out be "Ty." He called me over to an alley where he and his creww ere shooting what it appeared to be music video but it actually was comedy short film. After about 2 hours or so, Ty and his crew wrapped it up then I helped gather all of the film equipment to take upstairs to the studio. The studio was on 6th floor which was the top floor and I was taken on a small tour of the place by Ty's helper. I got to go on the rooftop and get a beautiful view of the Atlanta cityscape (It was there I understood why the studio was called the "Penthouse" ) then I went back inside the studio to network with other ATL natives for the remainder of the night. In my networking I met many players in the Atlanta underground scene but the connection I made that was most valuable to me was that of an impressive photographer by the name of "YF" whom I will be doing work with in the future. To conclude this blog, I got to meet my mentor Ty and see the studio in which I will be working out of for the first time so that was a grea experience. Looking forward for more of this!
