On The Set Posted on 2014-03-05 by Jonathan Hydock

THE BEST DAY SPENT AT THE STUDIO NOT AT THE STUDIO. Today i wasn't sure if my mentor was going to show up after waiting for 30 minutes i contemplated leaving when i heard a car pull up to the studio in a hurry. To my relief it was Mr. Winbush  I really look forward to every meeting and I'm glad there wasn't a miscommunication. as soon as he got he apologized and began to explain the situation which all by itself was very exciting news now i will try and explain the days events. My Cross to Bare this is the name of the movie based on Greg Almonds(from the legendary band the  Almond Brothers) life story Mr. Winbush got the call he was needed on set to help assist the younger version of the band in the movie and he was explaining that Dadds Production will be Tracking and recording the entire movie and said that he would like my assistance as a 2nd engineer this was a dream come true for me to be a part of some thing so big, but that was just for the first 5 minuite of the day. As soon as we sat down to begin our lesson  he received several calls requesting his service back on set. Just seeing and how respected and needed Mr. Winbush is a very motivating factor. Though i tried to hold back my excitement when he asked if i wanted to join him to the movie set arriving there goin in to Meddac Studios where the some of the greatest musicians ever to record. We were needed where the movie band was rehearsing Tyson from the All American Rejects was playing the role of Greg Almond. The opportunity to meet and assist so many celebrities and musicians was Pheneomenal and i truly thank RRFC for this opportunity.
