I've been getting more and more acclimated to the day end and day out happenings of studio life. There's a huge difference being behind the scenes as opposed to in the forefront. On top of the day to day operations of general studio maintenance, I have also sat in on and engineered a few sessions. One of which was with Producer BG, the other with a duo by the name of Berkley Park... lol, they also happen to be my managers at the studio. So it was both educational and exciting to engineer for those guys, one of which is an Engineer in the industry as well. All of the rooms at Icon run on Protools HD, so its pretty interesting working with that particular DAW vs. Logic and Ablelton or other versions of Protools that I may use at my home based studio. Working with people you admire and respect, and gaining their respect doing what you LOVE is an AMAZINGLY INDESCRIBABLE feeling!!! Working closely and soaking up wisdom from the likes of Stone Stafford, TASHIA STAFFORD, and IAN BURKE is a blessing that only God could grant. In a matter of weeks, RRF changed my life, lol and there's more to come!!! Closer to my DREAMS, until my dreams become MY REALITY!!! Til next time, Happy listening Folks!
