Signal processing, Dynamics-based: Volume control

This lesson was all about compression. We went through everything such as threshold and ratio. and all the different brands of compression which can sound differently. Also we experimented with different virtual faders like gate and expanders. Compression is getting easier to work the more we talk about it, but im still not quite sure what im doing when im changing ratio and threshold. I like practicing with it cause i know that it is an extremely important plugin. Bringing everything evenly and making the song smoother if used correctly. Adjusting the release and attack is getting easier the more i understand it. again i know ill will be more comfortable with more practice.
