Sync and Automation

We spent the day going through all the different ways you can digitally automate just about everything throughout a session. Also how to interlock audio and video with the transports using SMPTE. I watched a video explaining how to use jam sync/timecode refresh. We made a video and created our own sound effects so i can learn how to sync up the sound with the action in the video. With that, i also learned how to get a video file in to the protools program. My mentor also showed me how music videos are made, which was always something i have been interested in. With automation, I like using read mode, but update is interesting because its changing the automation as you go as in analog.
