It was an uneventful day for me, I came into the studio and basically sat there while two other guys tracked guitars for the cover of Boston's- Peace of Mind. I was very bored and didnt feel like I learned much. I didnt get to do anything on the board, set up any mics or learn any pro tools tricks, just sat there. I was very upset. I even brought up that the guitar tone sounded way too smooth (from only using a Royer 121, which tend to be smooth sounding mics) and thought there should be maybe an sm57 or 421 to get the crunch/ bite to sound more like Tom Scholz since we didnt have a Rocktron, which the guys running the session (other students who were already finished with the course) said was totally true, but they just were'nt going to do it. I left early feeling frustrated; I just blew a tank of gas getting to North Dallas from North Richland HIlls pretty much for nothing, and I'm barely making enough money to keep myself afloat with my current job. Not very enthused...

Time out- 2:11
