Hello, My name is Craig Morsell, Jr and I started my first lesson on May 28, 2013. I take my lessons at Wrightway Studios in Baltimore, MD and my mentor is Drew Lamond. My lesson lasted from 10 a.m til 12 p.m. In lesson 1 I learned the basics of the studio and music. We went over a lot of topics such as mixing, mastering, and the importance of them. We also went through the differences of a producer, engineer, and other jobs in the studio. I was shown actual compressors in the studio and compressors on protools. i was enlightened on attack, release, decay. Also, I asked many questions about experiences that my mentor has been through when working as a engineer or mixing audio with other artist. I really like working with my mentor, he definitely knows his stuff and its helping me grow as a producer. I really like this program and I'm really excited about the things to come.
