In this lesson we learned that surround sound uses 6 total speakers and what the .1 stands for in 5.1 dolby. I think the coolest part about this lesson is knowing where this will be in the future. The music industry is going into surround sound every day that passes. Someone will be able to pan a recording a full 360 degrees with just a joistick. Once this happens it will be applied to cars, every house in america, and every concert you attend.
