Hi this is Mike Moschitto again blogging about chapter 17, automation.  I thought this chapter was a little confusing but overall very good.  I learned a lot about the history of automation and the first mixing console called NECAM developed in the mid 1970s by Neve.  My favorite part of this chapter was learning about the Pro Tools automation like; volume, pan, and mute on audio, MIDI, and instrument tracks.
