Hi this is Mike Moschitto blogging about chapter 18, acoustics and monitoring.  I thought this chapter was very interesting and had a lot of terms.  I loved the history lesson in the begginning.  I didn't know that the study of acoustics goes back to the 6th Century BC in ancient greece.  I had no idea that it started that long ago.  The history was really cool and the most interesting part of the chapter.  I also learned a lot of great terms that are going to be very useful.
