Unfortunately, due to some phone tag between myself and my advisor I wasn't prepared for my first session lesson. It was alright because the engineer gave me some time to look through the chapter contents. I've worked in recording studios before on different projects before, but it was different when there was no presure to get a take for a session.
They have a Trident board there and I'm excited to learn how to work on an SSL console. Seems that knowing how to work on an console like that is a prerequisite for quite a few audio engineering job postings I've been skimming through. Hopefully, my ears will be able to tell the difference between things I should be able to hear!
