Today I got the pleasure of working with Lisa again! The song Lisa sang today was Taylor Swift's Red. The recording went pretty smoothly. Lisa wasn’t feeling to well today because she caught a cold but she tried her best. The vocal recording was a little nasally but it wasn’t to noticeable. I also notice that each take the lyrics she sang were a little different from each other so I will need to take a closer listen to them all later because that will affect how I am I going to edit it or choose which one I will use as a base.

Over all the session went smooth no big issues happened today. Just lots of fun and laughter in the studio. I'm starting to feel comfortable in the studio, working around the studio without asking Tara for help as often. Although it is nice to have her around. I feel most at ease when she is there than not. I hope that I learn to be independent by the end of the course and be able to do things on my own a lot more.

So far this learning experience has been lots of fun but also hard at times. I hope to be able to bring in more people to record as well. It's always a lot more fun to work with others than to find something on the internet to edit although those are helpful and good practice.
