Final mix test

It's final mix day!! This was a very nerve wracking experience since I've always had Tara by my side correcting me every step of the way but today I was working on a mix by myself all alone. If I had done something wrong I wouldn’t have noticed it right away but after awhile having to backtrack myself. Whereas before Tara would help point it out right away, through this experience I learned that I depended on Tara too much and that it's time for me to work by myself and become independent because after today is over I will no longer always have Tara by my side when working on music. I have to find my own music world to work in and enjoy myself freely.

The test went really went in the end and I am happy with the results, I just wished that during the exam there was at least a break time to let my ears rest a little. Working on a song for 3 hours straight is pretty tiring for both body/mine and the ears.

It feels great to finally be done! I really enjoyed my time with Tara at Bowtown Music for this past 2 years with Recording connection. It's been an amazing learning experiance I'll never forget.
