Chapter 18 Acoustics and monitoring

In this weeks lesson i got to learn about the great wonders of acoustics, and how sound waves react when hitting different surfaces. When looking back and thinking about how long people have been studying sound and waveforms is just crazy! and i find it just so insane how sound can travel from just hitting a piece of drywall to a piece of foam. i think one of my favorite things about sound is just the way it can travel.

I also got to do some tracking for the first time on Ryan Maclntyre and his band Cast in Cadence. It was so cool to finally get some hands on experience, even if it was just tracking vocals
