Lesson 14 & 15

We had a couple of ladies in today to record a song that they had wrote. We were just doing a scratch track so Brad let me set up the studio, and record the ladies. It was pretty cool sitting in the big chair at the studio. lol .

Brad had to go out and buy a new battery and do some running around, so he left me in the studio. It was only about 20 Min, but still pretty cool feeling.

After the girls left we sat down with my Mid Term song I'm working on. He had me put the tracks in order, colour co-ordinate them, cut out any silent spots, and then he asked me to make it sound better then the scratch track he had given me.

I have been working on this track for about two weeks, and I'm ready to hand it in next time I meet with Brad.

The stage rigging went really well, I have done a few shows since my first. Its such a learning experience each time I go. Being able to hear the frequency tests, and seeing how the consoles are set up, where the consoles are put, and the signal paths of all the equipment. Its very exciting for me, I really enjoy live music, the whole process of music continues to amaze me.
