I enjoyed watching the Billboard Music Awards last night and couldn't help but be in aww as I watched Michael Jackson perform, as a hologram obviously, but still so good.
This performance made me wonder how technology is going to change the face of music. If they can get the hologram to a perfection then artists would no longer have to go on huge tours, would people pay money to see a pre recorded concert? If they perfect this how would we be able to tell if we are watching the real artist or just a hologram of them.
I guess this could be a good thing too, artists could be at more then one place at a time, prices for concerts may go down, artists could spend more time with their families at home rather then on the road.
Its hard to say if last nights performance will have an impact on the music scene, however... I will be keeping my eyes open for it.
