Forgot to post a blog entry after our last session, whoops. This second studio session wasn't a whole lot different than the first, as we're still in the beginning chapters of intro-level, basic concepts of sound, hearing, electronics, etc., which is understandable and expected, that's how most classes work. Still exciting just to be in the studio sitting in front of Ric's impressive setup and hearing what he has to say. He said that Chapters 3 & 4 will, for the most part, be like these first two regarding lack of hands-on demonstrations and more about going over basic scientific concepts of things, to which I asked if I could just do the next two chapters together before our next session so we can get them out of the way and move on to more interesting information. He was very onboard with that idea, as he wants to get to the fun stuff too. Can't wait to knock these next two chapters out and move on to more exciting things!
