I'm into my third week and have sat in on 3 sessions so far. I'm having a blast hanging out with the artists, listening to them and watching them record, seeing Ira do his thing. I'm also getting to meet other students who are studying under Ira. I must admit though, I'm NOT a Hip-Hop fan. It'd be nice if some rockers and head bangers rolled through but it's all good. I'm still getting a kick out of the sessions. I'm also happy to be learning so much from these book chapters. Learning how digital music is converted to analog and vice versa, how your ears translate sound, it's all extremely fascinating. Ira has so much wisdom to share from his experiences, I couldn't ask for a cooler mentor. I'm grateful to be studying under his guidance and even more grateful to be on this path.
