I believe this is the first blog I've posted since the middle of the Basic Audio Engineering courses. In that time I've relocated jobs and have bought a new house, been in a car accident, survived marital turmoil, and been hard at work at the studio. I'm currently watching Rush's Clockwork Angels Live dvd as I'm typing this. All is well, and I've just finished the last course of the Advanced Audio Engineering courses. I'm more determined than ever now to put all that I have learned to good use. It amazes me now as I listen to all my favorite albums now with this new knowledge how many times I can smile and go, "Now I know how to do that." It's an exciting feeling of accomplishment and wonder. I will upload my projects from the AAE courses as soon as I can. I'm still playing with them. My mentor, Ira Parker had as much fun with my projects as I did. It took him to places he doesn't often get to go. I intend to stay in touch with him and hopefully continue studying under him and maybe even work for him. My hopes for the future are big and bright.
Peace, love, and thank you RRFC!
