Learning about Patch bays was probably the most useful information i learned in this chapter. Brad and I went through a couple of the studios to see how a open patch bay compared to a half normalled one. Still a little hazy on the specifics but i have the general idea of its funtions. Prior to this lesson i didnt know what the difference was between balanced and unbalanced cables. Every day im getting more and more clear on the signal flow and its importance in the recording process.
