The 3rd lesson in the text book is Digital Audio. I was really excited to start this chapter! I feel like its the first chapter that really dives into what I'm looking forward to learning and mastering. Bit Depth and Sample rate are two things that really stick out to me in this chapter because those are two things I knew about. However, I didnt know exactly what they were or the difference between the two. Another part of the chapter I thought was pretty cool was the short history lesson on how music was recorded since the digital era really took off and how pro tools has become the industry standard with little or no competiton at all. I didnt have any sessions thus far this week, but I know I have at least one that I'm available to sit in on. Which is on Saturday and I think it is about a 6 hour session. Of course I'm really stoked for it and can't wait till then.
