Brendon ParksColombus- Ga Recording Connection

1st Session Posted on 2016-06-15 by Brendon Parks

Yesterday was a pretty good first session. I went over the business and my schedule with my mentor, Ira Doughty. I also talked with the head engineer, DK and the other experienced engineer there, T.Bailey. We went over the type of session they usuallu have and the equiment we use like Pro Tools 11, Apollo 8, Big Knob, and MLK 990. I also learned how to set up the microphone and headphones in the booth to the Apollo 8 interface. I feel like i have aw really good group of teachers with unique skills. The big advice I learned that day was always be eager to learn and never doubt your skills or engineering style.
