The client wanted a very simple sound on the record he was recording. Just him and his guitar. It was decided to use this mic setup to make his sound a bit more full without over producing his work. The main vocal track was recorded with the TB 1 and the audio from the sideways mounted Fathead was mixed in to taste. Guitar and vocals were recorded at the same time to add to the raw live feel he was going for. The Oktava has always been me and my mentor's go to mic when it comes to recording acoustic guitar. It gives a very clean and full sound. Sometimes however it can sound a little bit to bright and other mics are usd but in the case it worked wonderful for the tone of the client's guitar.

Over all I feel like this setup really worked and gave the client what he was asking for.
