Most of this chapter was pretty well to understand and something that i personaly felt was common sense. It really didn't need to explain how most the insterments work, and where the sound comes from. Most of this who read all this play some sort of inaterment and know how it all works. But over all it was a very simple chapter. It was helpful on what type of mic you would normally use, but at the same time its going to depend on what the musican/engineer is looking for.
