So I have now officially learned a fast amount of knowledge on microphones this lesson. We Went Through Condenser mics, Ribbon mics, and Dynamic Mics. I learned there mechanics and how they work. Also learned to different pic up patterns that different mics can have or some have switches that you can change the pic up pattern. My Mentor Dan pulled out 7 different microphones and we plugged them all in one by one and studied the different sound qualitys and pic up patterns. All in all it was allot of information to consume but nothing a little studying wont fix. I still have to learn some of the names and models. But for the most part cant wait for Microphone Placement in the next lesson.
