Ever since a little dude, I have dreamed of creating music for the world. A little before I turned 15, I got my first guitar and it changed my life in so many ways and found that music is my perfect escape from the "rollercoaster" we call LIFE. One thing that was always a constant thought for me was that I wasn't going to be able to be great because there's people out there that grab a guitar right when they start walking and shred. I also didn't have a music program at my highschool so i had to learn on my own. I knew that since I was starting late, I was going to have to put in way more time and practice in the most efficient way. Im so glad I did because my life turned around the day I decided to focus my attention towards music and leave my old life behind. Best decision i've ever made, for sure. All the expirences and time that went into my career of music have all happended in the way, I feel, it was supposed to happen.
Even though I knew I wasn't short of passion for the music, I still didn't know if I was prepared to be in a professional studio setting. I was so damn nervous going to Empire Sound Studio to meet Rick Ronney for the first time. I was overthinking everything prior to meeting and I have no idea why I was so nervous. When I got into the studio, it felt like it's where I belong and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to work in the studio with Rick and the others.
This is my first blog so i dont really know how to do this but my point of this is to give inspiration for new people coming up in the industry. Even if you didn't have music in school, started learning late, been told you can't do it, or don't think you are good enough... People will notice if you have the passion and love for the music and your life will start to change once you commit. Never give up, follow your gut, and don't let fear hold you back!
