Fun week in the studio. Had three days which was really nice including one recording session. It was the first opportunity I have had to be present for the entire session. ( Thank God for a new year and a fresh batch of vacation days.) I got to see some great techniques including the creation of midi drum tracks for the band to play along with and keep time. I was blown away by how quick and effortless John one of the graduate students was able to make that happen. I also got to see what happens when you are not organized. Things were a little disjointed as the student who had brought in the band had not been really clear with his communication. This was a great learning experience for me to reinforce how important organization and professionalism are.
