Feeling pretty good about things right now. Rick has been pleased with my mixes so far. I still have plenty to learn when it comes to the art of producing, but my skills as an engineer are coming along very nicely. I have had some solid mixes that have put together and Rick has shown some tricks to really take things over the top when it comes to EQ and Compression. I've found that I really like compression of vocals and  instruments with the exception of drums. I know that is out of the norm but I really the drums as they are most of the time provided the drummer is consistent and you have a really good mix. Things are getting closer to the end and I am getting more and more excited each week to actually put this in to practice for a career. Ready to leave the cubicle behind and get behind a console full time.
