Our first recording went smooth. It was loads of fun too. I am glad I was there to take in the experience. It helped me take a look at how things work around the new studio I will be a part of. The band was named White Bison I can narrow the genre down as some prettty smooth rock. I got to see my mentor Rick put in some of his touches. The session took about 4 hours in total and it was all due to Rick's proessionalism. Good job Rick!!!!

As it turns out a student of Rick's was in the band. I hope someday when my band is ready we can jump in on an oppurtunity such as that one. It would be soo cool to take the lead oon my own project and have it supervised by a pro. Look at me getting worked up over something that hasn't even happened yet. The few recordings we do have I am proud to say I have had most control over and they came out great. At least in my ears. Listening in on that recording session changed the way I view the art of mixing and editing to have a rough mix. I stayed for the whole session, from start to closing time. 

I am so extatic about being a part of the family there at January Studios. Looks to me like I am gonna fit in just fine. And friday is guitar day, my favorite!
