At yesterday's observation we got to go watch Mark master three different songs as well as see his assistant Derek set up the sessions and finalize them. We also sat in with Vinny as he did some light soldering on the patchbay in one of the new rooms that will be available for booking. Then I attended a engineers meeting that we all had where Mark spoke to us about different rules of thumb between with being both a recording engineer and a mix engineer and wearing both hats. This was a enjoyable and informative.
