Today in my home producing, I discovered a very helpful website. This website is whosampled.com. This site helps me look into the sampling world of music a little better. I can now tell where other producers get their samples and how they manipulate them in different and interesting ways. This has been a great advantage to me in my HipHop productions at home. Although the world of sampling is large and can be a little bit dangerouss with lawsuits, information that I am continually educating myself on, it has proved to be beneficial to me. I can not wait to take the knowledge from future lessons at the RECORDING CONNECTION, Colorado Sound Studio, and apply some of the production elements to my work. I feel that when I advance to more complicated lessons, compression, EQ, Signal Flow, I will be able to utilize the samples of the library I am currently building.
