This week was all about mic placement. My mentor and I discussed how to place mics when recording in the studio for various instruments and also, got into a discussion abotu mic placing for live events. For example, ACDC live in concert 1980 how would they have captured the sound of the crowd, the songs, what mics the used, where they would have placed the mics, etc.
