Enrollment through lesson 3 Posted on 2013-06-07 by Uriah Halbeisen

I have to admit i was quiet exited to jumpstart into the Recording Connections program for Audio Engineering. The school had given me a number to a Conway Sound to interview for my Teacher/Mentor. The meeting went very smooth, as to believe the owner Ryan Conway seen my passion for music and accepted me as a student. From there we had arranged sessions weekly to meet for lesson reviews and some thoroughly hands on training. My first lesson was a pretty wide ranged lesson, but a great way to start off my learnings. Breaking down everything from waveforms to different job opportunities, it really started opening my eyes i have A LOT to learn! After finishing my first session, i was more hopeful for the future than i ever have been in the past, feeling quiet motivated to go home and jump back into the workflow! In lesson 2 was really focused the design in studios and how to properly set up your sound. Ryan had taught me a lot going in depth on just about everything, even helping to guild in improving how to improve achieving the ideal setup. Lesson 3 for me was packed with tons of informative goodies on what digital audio REALLY is and what it can REALLY do. As I'm getting deeper into the program i am feeling more comfortable with it, not really knowing what to expect at first. It's just reassuring that even doing all this stuff on my own for some stuff, i had my nose in the right direction the whole time.
