My first week with the Recording Connection welcomed me to an experience for which I had been waiting for some time. I began producing on my own about 5 years ago and while I quickly fell in love with it, I was always searching for some direction. I was always looking for some way to learn every aspect of music, its creation, and its implementation, from a professional. I had always wanted to spend time in a real studio.
While my first week showed me nothing I had not already encountered before, be it with producing, or as a guitar player of 13 years, I used my time in the studio to get to know my mentor, allowing our student-teacher relationship to develop in order to faciliating the flow of information that will come in future sessions. We shared anecdotes, stories, and opinions in a comfortable environment dedicated solely to music.
With this, I look forward to my time with the Recording Connection. Though I make this post late, my feelings and my anticipation towards this program have not faltered.
