Well, so far this internship has been pretty interesting. i've been learning a lot and super busy!

But, i would say some of the most important things i've learned would be about how a studio works, how it runs, and how to get the sound you're looking for.

I had no idea how connected and in perfect position everything must be in a recording studio. there are so many connections and linkages required for everything to work.

Although, it is quite amazing what you can achieve with just a few microphones and a few channels. Really quite amazing. 

What suprised me the most though is how different all microphones sound! Sometimes they may even be quite temperamental. But learning how everything connects so intricately has really been interesting.
