I took some time this morning to review the Social Media Marketing assignments, so far so good! A lot of really good information and points in the curriculum. Lucky for myself, I have already been creating a brand for my music as well as for my DJ career. In case anyone was wondering, I am a resident DJ with Edmonton's largest and longest operating promotion company (Boodang), we are responsible for bringing some of the biggest electronic music producers to this city and on some nights I get to open for them! This has actually helped immensly in creating this brand and gaining some fan support - so big shout out to Marty, Mike and the rest of the crew!
I'm having a little bit of trouble writing a bio for my student profile though. I find it slightly weird to write about myself, especially in the third person, I feel like Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson or Elmo or someone like that. But alas, I'm making some headway on it. I finished the third chapter in my e-text as well, I'm hopeful that James and I can blast through a few lessons on the first day of sessions!
On a totally unrelated, but super stellar note - I found the microphone that came with my microKorg! I honestly jumped for joy when I came across it, lost it probably a couple years ago when I first bought the synth.
Anyways, I'm off to bed - it has been a long day!
Much love,
Tyler
