We had our first lesson not long ago, and i'd like to say that it was informative, but I knew what it was talking about previously. Getting a refresher was nice, but I guess i'm just getting antsy to get into the nitty-gritty of everything. For the hands-on work, we learned about the patch bay, and observed an engineer mastering a track. It was very informative learning exactly how to patch into the pre-amps and back into pro tools, as well as seeing exactly what the process of mastering a track is. There is much more to mastering than what I initially thought.
