Lesson 11

Another cool lesson with Ernie. We started off setting up new sessions, talking about the difference between the new types of tracks you can open in a session, audio, input, master fader, MIDI, and instrument. Also covering the different types of plugins for each type of track. We covered TDM, RTAS, AudioSuite, AIR, Bomb Factory, and DigiRack. It's a lot to soak in, but I shall enjoy the time spent exploring all the plugins and what they are capable of. I have some experience with outboard and onboard, effects processors in a live setting. This is more on the fly, rather than a controlled environment. With more time to tweak, I should be able to get some very cool effects. I have spent some hours playing with many of the plugins that was given, and downloaded a few free cool ones too. Blue Cat has a nice package you can get for free, as well as Amp Lion, and Guitar Rig 5, and there are many more that you will have to register before using.
