Ch. 10 Plugins and Processing Posted on 2014-11-07 by Ben Foster

Plugins are my favorite part about digital audio! We've learned about so many awesome plugins at Studio 713.  John has even given us personal access to some of these plugins to practice with at home in our own songs/mixes.  Learning how to make chords out of multiple sinewaves by recording 3 different audio tracks into 1 was very eye opening ! I actually don't have the "Sampler" instrument that apparently comes with our version of Pro Tools, so the sine wave project wasn't as fun as I hoped it could have been. I've been looking deep into Slate Digital plugins that I plan to purchase for compressing and mastering.  I really hope to own a Universal Audio interface in the near future so I can start using their plugins.
