Arrived to studio at noon John was going over assignments with other students. We went over my chapter 3 quiz and John explained into further detail and cleared up some terms I had not fully comprehended such as bit depth and sample rate. Around 2pm John was connecting microphones to drum set and explained how to properly set up from base of snare and that distance was very important in recording process even using a measuring tape. 3pm began to record rap artist royal's intro for upcoming mixtape.
