I've just wrapped up the chapter on time-based effects. Its nice that the knowledge i've gained in studio and in practice has partially exceeded the book knowledge. By the time I get to working on a chapter, I've already gotten my hands on the material in real life scenarios and been able to learn about it. I'll continue to work in the studio and practice at home to get better. 

I also was given my first professional opportunity. I'm mixing a live performance for a local band, and in the coming week or so trying out to be their live engineer.
