As per my usual, I was reading the chapter, taking notes on plugins and such, then BAM!  There in front of me stood my first Pro Tools assignment.  Thinking that since there was a tutorial, I...in my infinite hubris, figured the video and the assignment would be quick and easy.  Something to learn for learning's sake.

Seven hours later, I walked away from my computer in not only exhiliration that I completed it, but in solitary rage that the guy who made the tutorial said he did it all in about 45 minutes.  Damn you, sir.  On the other hand, I did learn a ton of neat stuff!  Taking that sine wave and making it sound like drums was a real eye opener, not to mention the vastness and extreme versitility of AudioSuite alone.  I'm really looking forward to working more with this program!  Now if only I can get my midi keyboard to work...
