Acoustics and monitoring is something I wish I learned earlier on in the program becuase I feel it is necessary at home. Recording drums before I got acoustic treatment was dreadful. It is also very important for mixing so you aren't hearing things that aren't really there. Being in an outfitted studio just feels and sounds different than your home. With all of the acoustics put into mind I can see the importance.
