This week at the studio I was able to review all different types of mics that the studio had. I was able to see all the mics from the textbook, along with many others. One of the most interesting ones I saw was the Neumann U67 tube condenser. This one was not in the textbook, but very similar to the U87 and U48 that was in the textbook. It had a beautiful black gloss finish. Didn't get a chance to plug it in to hear what it sounded like, but I'm sure I'll see it in use soon enough. Very excited to be learning about all different types of mics and their sounds.
