This week began with basic principles! Basic electronics to be exact. For example, matter is composed of atoms, and atoms make up everything in existence. Protons, Electrons, and Neutrons are around us at all times, in the air we breath and increase in number based on the mass of an object (to generalize). A lot of this chapter explained the beginnings electronics from the electrical current, to conductors of electricity, to the gauge of wires and so on! One of the most useful tools I learned was an analogy of the flow of water. It holds the same principle as electricity in how it flows, from it's main source (holding tank), through the pipes (cables), to a valve that controls the holds/release of it's pressure (resistance/friction) and is sent to the the end source, the focet. Maintaining this image makes it easy to understand the important of connectivity and knowing the basics of electronics. This week at The Lair, I was able to observe the proper set up of drums while assiting at the studio!
