Lesson 6, like all of the other lessons, was really fun but definetelty more hands on than the last ones. Asaf and I miked up his drumset with different techniques like spaced, accented, or XY. We had recorded small parts at a time with the different techniques and went over the different types of mics again to understand which ones are best for different situations. After which, he let try to incorporate the recordings to a track I have been working on previousy in pro tools. I think this was a good lesson to take a pause on because I will be out of the country for 3 weeks and be coming back to the lesson on Tracking and finally stepping foot in Pro Tools for real.
