On this chapter me and Asaf went through different types of compressors, limiters, and gates on how they our very similar yet have very different characteristics. He showed me through some of the Plugins that he uses in Pro Tools as well as the ones that initially come with the DAW. We went through each aspect of the different types, showing me how to properly adjust the knobs to certain tastes or styles. It definetly opend my eyes and changed the way I use these processors in my everyday production workflow. He then showed me his analog Avalon/Api/Neve compressors and limiters that he has in his main studio and let me try moving around some settings and knobs on each one to get another feel on how they work and how he utilizes them in his workflow.
