So Far so good. Just finished my first month being a part of the recording connection. At first i wasn't sure what to expect and felt a bit overwhelmed especially when watching what was done on my intern days. Honestly i still don't know half the stuff that the staff is doing when their working on songs in the studio. However i did notice that i can now sometimes figure out what they are doing just by recalling some of the things i have learned since i began. The entire staff is awesome at the abstract studio and they make it really easy for you to feel comfortable. I can now understand some of the concepts behind EQ and the importance of using effects like panning and velocity when i used to completely ignore them. The main thing i feel i have taken away in this last month was a much better understanding of ableton. I no longer feel like i have hit a wall when i cant figure something out on the first try. It still takes me much longer than i would like to do what i am trying to do, but i can now see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  I look forward to learning much more and will be back with another update soon.
